Ray Bradbury
When Mr Bradbury first saw that my name he was signing was the same as his, he signed the book directly to me (Doug) as he did with every book afterward. There was a time he even signed a picture of him with President and Laura Bush to me, something photos was something he rarely did, I’m told. It’s a treasure to me.
A lot of his writing influenced me and I once dedicated my short story, ‘Forever Christmas’ to Kate Phillips and him. I was told, at the time, he had read it and liked it.
For me, ‘Something Wicked this Way Comes’ is the ultimate Bradbury story.
He will live forever on.
